The Making of Behind Your Cover

As a child, I grew up having a difficult time reading since discovering I had a learning disability. This disability hindered me from comprehending the context of books. Because I had this struggle, during book fairs, I vividly remember picking books solely based on the book cover alone. Although I did not know how to read, I bought a plethora of books because of their appealing cover. When I started getting the help I needed, I began to read those appealing books.  Once I was finally capable of comprehending and reading those books, I became bewildered by how fascinating the world was through those pages. From then on, I have adored reading and, ever since that moment, some of my favorite books have been thanks to the cover alone. 
BYC is a passion project that is supposed to not only inspire others to read but to encourage those who also struggle with reading. The mission is to bring back the joy of reading especially for those who have a difficult time with it in their everyday lives. BYC is a slow-paced, motivating book club for all those interested in finding a creative way to get back into reading. The goal is to bring together a diverse community of book lovers and relay our interpretations of a novel to uncover the unknown world that lies behind the cover.
